Cast Iron deck furniture causes rust spots on pressure treated deck? What to do?

Kids bought a cast iron swing set and lawn chair for my deck. When precipitation accumulates in the pipe frames, it leaves rust under where the furniture sits. Is it possible to treat the insides of the pipes with something to stop that? Can I treat the metal to cut down on the rust giveaway?
