I painted my wrought iron furniture black, and when i put my new white cushions the paint cameoff .?

the furniture was painted about amonth ago with rust oleum. i just had the cushions made this week . how do i stop this paint from rubbing off on my cushion.

Has anyone tried putting polyeurethane on worn-looking resin patio chairs?

I have several green resin chairs that are structurally fine, but are sort of "whitish" due to, I guess, oxidation. I know there is a paint for this from Krylon, but am wondering if poly might be an alternative.

Can you remove the slings in patio chairs to paint the frame?

The frames are starting to get rusty, but other than that they are in great shape. I could just use painters tape on the sling part, but that might not prevent the paint from getting on the fabric. Any other advice or ideas?
